FOR PCR TEST...
- Turnaround time is typically 26-36 hours. Expedited PCR tests are done early morning. These reports are usually in by evening of the same day.
- We receive results from early morning until about midnight and email them out to you as soon as we receive them
- We keep a list of travellers' flight times including yours so we always know whose reports are most urgently needed
- Check your spam email folder too for your report
- You can check the bulletin on the main PCR page for the progress of lab reports (resumes January 31)
- Our swabs are couriered to the lab twice daily at 12.30 pm and 4 pm Expedited PCR tests are sent to the lab at 8.45 am.
- Please do not phone us nor the lab to ask about your report. The best way to contact us is by sending an email to [email protected]. We reply quickly well into the evening.
- We know how stressful these waits are for you. We have several people staffing the back office from early morning until late at night, all working to get your results to you as promptly as possible.
- Testing clinics, including ours, cannot guarantee a specified time at which you will receive your report. Several factors play a role including how busy the lab is, errors in transcription of information and tests which have to be repeated for technical reasons or because of possible positivity.
