Our Riverside medical staff consists of Peter Teitelbaum MD CTH, Robert Birnbaum MD CTH (now retired), Janelle Elliot NP, Salma Ibrahim RN CTH, Elizabeth Meyer RPN CTH, Amy Murphy, RN CTH. The Barrhaven clinic is also staffed by Sabrina Di Stefano Walker RN CTH, Tigest Fischer RN, Jovana Ivic RN, Cindy Leung RN CTH. The Certificate of Travel Health (CTH) is awarded by International Society of Travel Medicine and is the standard of competence. Jenn Witkowicz and Linda Gascon comprise the clinic management staff.

Peter Teitelbaum has been director of the clinic since its inception and medical consultant to the International Development Research Centre since 1977. He is a past member of CATMAT, the Public Health Agency of Canada's tropical and travel medicine advisory committee.
Janelle Elliott has been a nurse for 19 years and a primary care nurse practitioner for 13 of those years. She has worked in acute care (pediatric cardiology, neonatal ICU) and primary care (family health team, public health). She has travelled and seen first hand the value of travel medicine. Travel medicine has become an area of interest since her experience in Africa.

Salma Ibrahim practices travel medicine As are all our staff, she is a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine.

Elizabeth Meyer has been on staff at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, has worked in travel medicine at the Ottawa Hospital and with our clinic since 2016.

Amy Murphy is a registered nurse with experience in Canada's north. She is currently enrolled in a nurse practitioner program.
