Travel consultation cost
There are two component costs to travellers - the consultation fee and the price of each vaccine. However the number of vaccines recommended can affect the cost most of all and we try to minimize these.
Note: During COVID, we are offering online video consultations only. We open our office at intervals to administer vaccines.
Individual: $85
Two individuals, same visit: $130
Each family member beyond two: $25
Injection fee at the clinic: no charge
Subsequent injection fee at the clinic, if needed: $25
Vaccine Cost
Dukoral: $100 for 2 doses; $55 for 1 dose
Two-doses are needed the first time Dukoral is taken. Boosters are single dose. Effective for cholera but poor efficacy for traveller's diarrhea.
Hepatitis A: $80 - First dose protects for 1-3 yrs depending on brand; 2nd dose for at least 25 years.
Hepatitis A pediatric: $45
Hepatitis B: $55 - Several different schedules can be used. The 3 dose schedule is the most common.
Hepatitis B pediatric: $30
Japanese encephalitis: $230 - Two doses are given 4 weeks apart.
MMR: No charge - Measles-mumps-rubella. Not usually needed if born in Canada before 1970.
Meningococcal meningitis: $160- This is the quadrivalent (A, C, Y, W135) vaccine required for Haj and Umra and for the meningitis belt of Africa. Click for more information.
Polio: No charge - One adult dose protects for life if the childhood series has been completed
Rabies: $220 - Three doses are given over a 3 week or a 4 week period, for prevention.
Tetanus-diphtheria-(pertussis): No charge - recommended every ten years
Tick-borne encephalitis: Not currently available
Twinrix : $95 - Hepatitis A and B combined; 3 doses. There is a half dose of A and full dose of B in Twinrix.
Twinrix Junior: $50 - Hepatitis A and B combined; 3 doses
Typhoid: $55 - Protects for 2-3 years
Vivaxim: $130 - Not available
Yellow fever: $200 - Protects for life

Replacement of lost documents
We charge $25 ($30 if mailed) when our clients request replacements for lost prescriptions, immunization booklets, lab requisitions or receipts. Please take good care of these.
