Travel consultation for vaccines, anti-malarial medication (when needed), antibiotics and advice
You will be consulting one of our nurses online. She will ask you details of your trip, your health, immunization history and arrange a clinic appointment to receive any vaccines you might need. She can fax prescriptions to your preferred pharmacy.
You will see these on the booking page. You can exit that page at any time and you can cancel your booked appointment without charge until two hours prior to your booked time. Payment is made at the end of the consultation by credit card.
Please have all immunization records on hand and available. If you have children travelling with you, please weigh them and have the weights available at the time of our conversation.
What we discuss
During the consultation we commonly discuss vaccines, anti-malarial medications if needed, food and water precautions, treatment of diarrhea, dengue fever, Zika, altitude sickness (Peru, Nepal and Mount Kilimanjaro), seasickness (cruises, Galapagos), animal and insect bites and more.
We now also spend ample time discussing the thorny issue of travel and coronavirus.
